The potato and leek soup was so good, I drank a cup of it for breakfast!!! Also just bought all the ingredients for the taco soup and will be using venison instead of hamburger. Have enjoyed all your soups so far. The original plan was to freeze leftovers, but I am finding that there are none!!!

I just finished making Butternut Squash Soup from the "bear" cookbook.  It's lovely -- creamy, smooth, a beautiful autumnal orange color, and the orange rind & juice really jumps out and says "Hello."  We'll have some tonight with ham, and some crackers and cheese.
